The 2nd Annual Pedal for Puppies event was hosted on October 29th and was a complete hit! Preliminary results are 287 registrations, a little over $10k raised for Austin Pets Alive!, plus 3 possible adoptions. We would like to thank all of our sponsors and people who raised money for this event. We also want to thank everyone who volunteered and participated in this year’s Pedal For Puppies and making it a success once again!

On Saturday October 22nd, Austin Subaru sponsored the First Annual SUP (Stand Up Paddling) Games at Pure Austin Quarry Lake. SUP ATX, the company that brought paddle boarding to Austin had several obstacle courses for the event. These included a Slalom Buoy course, an Angry Balls obstacle course, a Jousting event, Water war, and a World Record breaking SUPZILLA event. 34 people were recorded on the SUPZILLA to break the record! Dogtoberfest was held on October 22nd, at the Domain Shopping Center. The canine rescue fundraising event had such events as a costume contest for pets and a wiener dog race. The categories for the costume contest were wackiest, best owner/dog duo, cutest, and most creative costume. Austin Subaru was proud to sponsor Austin Pets Alive! at the event.
