This year the Continental Automotive Group has started an employee recognition program called the “Top Gun Awards.” The Top Gun Award is designed as an avenue for CAG to recognize, with appreciation and gratitude, dedicated and loyal employees who contribute to its’ success.

“We wanted to start an employee recognition program for some time,” says Will Hardeman, owner of CAG. “We want our employees to know that their efforts don’t go unnoticed.”

Each of the 6 locations: Austin Infiniti, Austin Subaru, First Texas Honda, Mercedes-Benz of Austin, Continental Collision, and Wholesale Parts Direct, select an employee (non-manager) from each department to win this award each year. The Top Gun Awards will be given out each year at the annual company appreciation dinners.

This year our inaugural 34 winners will each receive their name on a Top Gun Award Plaque, a trophy, and an iPad2!

Austin Infiniti has a new Logo. Inspired by the 360 Bridge and the Infiniti Brush Stroke, our new logo exemplifies our “We’re All About Austin” tagline. A special thanks to our Graphic Designer, Cara Logue for creating this logo.

The 2nd Annual Pedal for Puppies event was hosted on October 29th and was a complete hit! Preliminary results are 287 registrations, a little over $10k raised for Austin Pets Alive!, plus 3 possible adoptions. We would like to thank all of our sponsors and people who raised money for this event. We also want to thank everyone who volunteered and participated in this year’s Pedal For Puppies and making it a success once again!

For the month of November, on behalf of our customers, Austin Infiniti is going to donate a brand new bicycle to Bikes For Kids for every brand new Infiniti sold. So come to Austin Infiniti and purchase a new Infiniti and a shiny, new bike will be given to a child in need. JB and Sandy’s Bikes For Kids is in it’s 15th year of providing needy Central Texas children with bikes, locks, and helmets. Starting from humble beginnings, the first year they started they had a goal of 94 bikes. By hustling and getting donations from the community, they were able to purchase 200. Now they are in the range of 900-1,000 bikes per year. The big day of handing out the donated bikes is a couple of days before Christmas, and everyone walks away with a smile on their face.
